24 September 2018 - Week 77
During the week along with packing and weighing our luggage, repacking and reweighing and cleaning the apartment, we met the branch members for some ice cream in downtown Arad. We have been to a couple of ice cream shops on other occasions. This was the first time to this shop. It was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed spending time together. The Romanians really enjoy eating outdoors. Almost every cafe or food shop has an outdoor section. Elder Olmstead and brother Moldovan were talking with Brent about the Romanian money. Each denomination has a hole in it which is filled in with plastic. It is really quite pretty. On Friday evening, we went with the Elders to see Sora Lidia and Costi. They fed us pizza and ice cream and the Elders taught about celestial marriage. They love to have the missionaries to their home and the missionaries enjoy visiting them.
