25 September 2017 - Week 25

The most exciting thing that happened this week was a trip to Horia.  A little town just outside Arad.  We went to visit our branch member, Dana Muscan and her family.  We had a wonderful visit about some things she would like to do.  She sent us home with some bags of beautiful grapes.

Many of the homes in Romania have a grape arbor growing over a support system across their walkways or driveways.  They provide shade and bountiful fruit.   Dana put Elder Gore to work with the scissors cutting down the grape clusters.  We filled two bags.

You can see Elder Paul in the background making friends with the dog and cat. Below you can see Sister Folsom and Brent supervising the grape clipping. Undoubtedly, Elder Andersen is imparting some little know grape facts.

Here you see Sister Castaneda fielding the soccer ball for a little scrimmage with Luca, Dana's 8-year-old son.

Here are a few shots from the forest where we take our walks in the morning. The spiders seem to be very busy.  There were really messy spider webs all over the grassy areas, but the beautifully crafted web caught our eye.

Salut!
