28 May 2018 - Week 60

Our mission car is the way we are able to get to see our branch members, many of whom live an hour out of the city. We go in every direction and sometimes in opposite directions on the same day.  This week we visited our member in Nadlac who is west of the city near the Hungarian border.  As we stepped inside her gate, we saw little frogs jumping all over.  The sisters shreeked with delight and were trying to catch the little things.

There must have been a hundred of them jumping everywhere in the grass.

It happened so fast I did not get a good photo of Sora Broadbear, just her legs.

We also made a trip to the Posta this week.  And surprise, surprise . . .we received a package that Jennifer sent to me for Mother's day.  It was just a few weeks late, but at least it got here. And reading the notification slip, it looks like it was here for a while.  We are not sure why we are only getting notified about it now.

The box contained a pretty set of pearl earrings.  Thanks Jenn!

We are still walking in the woods every day we can.  This week we crossed paths with a fellow making changes to his hay rake.

And this truck parked on the side of the road where some lumber is being cut and hauled.  I took this picture to show the little flags in the window.  The American flag is on the far right, almost too little to see.

All the trees and vines are growing like crazy with the rain and warm temperatures.

I am still trying to get just the right picture of the poppies that are growing wild everywhere. I think with some cropping this could be one of my favorites.

The roses are continuing to bloom all around the town.

The best part of the week.  We received an email from our neighbors with some good news and some bad news.  The bad news was that a tree in our yard fell down, the good news was that it missed the house and trailer.

Thank goodness for great neighbors and wonderful family to help us!
