2 July 2018 - Week 65

The transfer board came out on Saturday. We had made some guesses what would happen or who would be moving. . . . . what actually happened was the last thing we expected.  Sora Broadbear was transferred to Cluj.  Sora Pitcher, who used to be in Oradea, will be coming to Arad.  They were scheduled to leave on a train at 2:55.  We arrived only a few minutes early and were afraid that they had missed it, but luckily we were there in time.  We didn't really want to drive to Cluj and back today.

Thursday morning Sora Nemelka returned with Sora Pitcher.  They said they were able to sleep a bit on the overnight train and felt pretty good.

A visit and lesson at the home of  Sora Muscan on Monday gave us a preview of her bountiful grape crop growing in her yard.  She said her husband wants her to get rid of them, but she loves the shade and obviously they doing well.  We really enjoy going to visit her.  She loves the gospel and is very anxious to learn.

When we went to walk in the woods, a whole bunch of wild pigs came running across the road.  I was not in a good picture taking position, but there is a little black spot on the right-hand side of the road, that is a pig.  There were big ones and little ones and ones in between, we counted about 25.

It seems like there are more wildflowers this year than last.  They are growing everywhere, including the median and common spaces at our apartment building.

Finally . . .  this interpretive dance video showed up on my phone.  It keeps me smiling!
